Marcia Knight, a native of the beautiful Virgin Island of St. Croix, received her Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Marcia has a 23 plus year career in Corrections and Human Services. She has worked for the State of North Carolina Community Corrections and Wake County Child Welfare. As an entrepreneur, she successfully owns and operates two separate businesses, Travels By Marseayah and Elite Jewelz.
Marcia stays active in her community keeping Caribbean culture alive as one of the leaders of The Raleigh Durham Afro Caribbean Association. She plays an intricate role as one of the organizers of the annual CaribMask Caribbean Carnival Raleigh, NC. Marcia is also a founding member of Brown Girl Economics, Inc.
